Like all HDR enthusiasts I was very happy to find out that iPhone 4.1 adds HDR mode to the camera app.
To me it looks like HDR can finally go mainstream. If only other camera manufacturers follow suite. We only need to wait for an affordable HDR monitors, but in the meantime, I am happy with compressed images.
Speaking of HDR going mainstream, comrades from soviet montage productions used a beam splitter and a couple of canon 5ds and made a HDR movie demonstration. Can't wait to see a complete movie.
